We'll pick you up from your Marrakech accommodation before 8:00 a.m. and head towards the picturesque R207 route that leads to the coast. On the way, we'll pause to witness small goats climbing argan trees to feed, a remarkable sight that offers excellent photo opportunities. We'll also visit a women's cooperative that produces argan oil, a delectable condiment for Moroccan bread or a topping for pitta bread. The oil also serves as a beauty product for hair and skin. Our day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech will take us to this resort and port city, where the vast North Atlantic Ocean unfolds before our eyes. The old town (medina), a world heritage site, is a vibrant spectacle. You'll quickly understand why this is so. Ancient brass cannons line the walls, and the ramparts protect the seafront from historic invasions. The city's modern cafes and restaurants blend seamlessly with its history. Moving from a modern cafe to a rickety house in the medina takes just a few steps, making you feel like you're in a time machine. The long promenade on the beachfront welcomes sun-seekers and swimmers to the city's sandy beach. Bring your swimwear, sunscreen, and a towel to bask in the golden sands of this charming city. We'll depart for Marrakech, and you'll relish the sunset's beauty as the sun sets in the late afternoon. Essaouira is a sought-after stopover for tourists visiting Morocco, and this fascinating day trip to the coast will show you why. We'll return to Marrakech by 6:00 pm.
