Today you will be able to visit two imperial cities, Meknes and Fes. Wake up early in the morning to take pictures in the streets with fewer people than before. Leave for Fes, and stop along the way at the UNESCO-protected Roman Volubilis ruins. The capital of the ancient Kingdom of Mauritania was established in the third century BC and made by the Roman Empire an important venue. It is scheduled with buildings and exquisite effects. The buildings are incomplete, but it is still interesting to discover. Continue on to Meknes, your second imperial city. Be sure to visit the gate of Bab El-Mansour, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. Later in the day, leave for Fes. Spend your night at the best local Riad.

Fes, the oldest of the four imperial cities in Morocco, may be the one that is worth exploring. Continue on your journey to your final destination, Marrakech, and enjoy the road trip. Upon arrival in Marrakech, start exploring the red city. Begin at Djemaa el Fna, a famous square and marketplace in the Marrakech medina quarter (old city). It remains the main square of Marrakech, frequented by locals and tourists alike. Visit the Koutoubia mosque, the largest mosque in the city, if time allows, visit the most appealing sites in Marrakech.
