Itinerary

Welcome to Marrakech! Your tour guide will meet you at the airport and provide you with dates to eat and a brief overview of your 8 day tour Marrakech to Casablanca. Start with a visit to the busiest square in North Africa, Jamaa El-Fna, a vibrant square filled with street performers and thousands of markets and restaurants. Explore the old Medina, taking in the sights and colors of the traditional markets. See the Koutoubia Mosque, the largest mosque in the city, and head to the Menara gardens, a historic public garden established in the 12th century. Take some free time to admire the Moroccan architecture. Continue on to the Majorelle Garden and the Ben Youssef Madrasa for a taste of 16th-century architecture. If time allows, visit other notable places such as the Saadian Tombs, El Badi Palace, and Bahia Palace. You will be transferred to your Riad for the first night.

After a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you will embark on a journey from Marrakech to Dades Boumalne. You will travel through the majestic Atlas Mountains in a comfortable 4x4 car or minibus, taking in the breathtaking scenery and vibrant landscapes. Along the way, you will stop at the summit of Tizi n'Tichka, which stands at 2,260 meters (7,415 ft) for a panoramic view. Next, you will visit the Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most famous Kasbahs in Morocco. This traditional pre-Saharan habitat is made up of earthen buildings enclosed by high walls. You will have free time to explore the area before enjoying lunch on-site. Continuing on, you will reach Ouarzazate, known as the "gate to the desert." Upon arrival, you will notice the change in atmosphere. You will visit the Film Atlas Studio, a renowned film studio where many of your favorite movies were filmed in nearby Sahara regions. Afterwards, you will travel through the Thousand Kasbahs Valley on the way to Dades where you will spend the night in a local Riad or hotel.

Today, you will embark on a journey to the southeast of Morocco. After enjoying breakfast at the Riad, you will set out on your journey, making a stop in Tinghir to take in the beautiful view of its oasis river. You will then visit the Todra Gorges, towering at 400 meters (1312 ft), and have some free time to explore and take in the scenery. Next, you will make stops in Erfoud and Rissani to explore the local markets and visit a fossils workshop where you will learn about the process of turning 400-year-old stone into beautiful decorations. As you make your way to Merzouga, you will be transferred to your accommodation. If the weather permits, you will have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in a pool located in the heart of the desert. You will spend the night in a local hotel or Riad.

After a delicious breakfast at your Riad, you will embark on a full-day tour of the 8 day tour Marrakech to Casablanca to explore the Sahara Desert. You will be transported in a 4x4 vehicle, driven by an experienced driver, who will take you on a thrilling adventure. Along the way, you will meet nomad families who live in tents and learn about their culture, lifestyle and stories. You will then visit the nearby town of El-khamlia, where you will find a majority of the inhabitants with dark skin originally from Mali. Afterwards, you will change from a 4x4 vehicle to a single private camel for an exciting camel ride. Afterwards, you will drive to Ifrane, a city known as the "Small Switzerland of Morocco" and have some time to explore before continuing on to Fes. You will spend the night in a local Riad.

Fes, one of the four imperial cities in Morocco, is a must-see destination known for its rich history and culture. You will meet with a guide for a half-day tour of the city, starting with the oldest medina in Morocco, founded over 1000 years ago. You will stroll through the souks, the traditional markets where you can find everything from spices to textiles and ceramics. The city is divided into two parts: Fes el Bali and Fes el-Jadid. One of the most famous streets in Fes el-Bali is Talaa Kebira, also known as "the Great Slope/Climb." Next, you will visit the Al-Attarine Madrasa, a beautiful madrasa (school) built by the Marinid sultan Uthman II Abu Said (1310-1331) and located near the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. After exploring the old city, you will move on to the new city and visit el Mellah, a Jewish quarter with a fantastic view.
