Itinerary

On this first day of your 8 days fes private tour to Morocco desert, you will be picked up from the airport or your accommodation in Fes and begin your journey to Merzouga Desert. You will pass through the city of Ifrane, known as the "little Switzerland of Morocco" and take a quick visit before continuing on to Azrou where you will stop to see the cedar forest and meet Berber apes. You will then head to Midelt for lunch and continue on through the Ziz valley and the middle Atlas mountains, stopping to see the second-largest palm grove in Morocco and enjoy the panoramic views from the top of the mountain. Next, you will visit the city of Erfoud, known for its fossil rocks, where you will have the opportunity to visit a local workshop to see how they convert simple fossil rocks into beautiful decorations. The weather will become increasingly Saharan as you approach Merzouga, the largest desert in Morocco. You will change from a 4x4 car to a camel for a 1-1:30 hour camel ride through the Erg Chebbi dunes. You will enjoy the sea of sand dunes while watching the sunset before arriving at your desert camp. Dinner will be served and you will be entertained by traditional Sahara music before spending the night at the private camp.

On this day of your 8 days fes private tour, if you wake up early you will have the chance to witness the sunrise over the dunes and experience sandboarding in the heart of Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast at your camp, you will ride your camel back to the village of Merzouga. You will then head to Rissani where you will stop to visit the traditional souk before continuing on to Tinghir via several Berber villages. You will enjoy the Oasis of Todra with its palm trees and panoramic views. Next, you will visit Todra gorges where you will have free time to relax and enjoy walking under the 300-meter high rocks and possibly see climbers scaling them. You will also have free time to relax near the cool water of the Todra River. Afterwards, you will leave for Dades Gorges for an overnight stay.

You will have lunch there before leaving to head west to the modern cities. You will pass through the high Atlas mountains, stopping to admire the view from the top of Tizi n’Tichka Pass (7,415 feet or 2,260 m) and take photographs. You will arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon.

Today you will explore the Red City, Marrakech. On this day of your trip, you will continue on to the final destination of Casablanca. Your first stop will be in Safi, known for its great surfing beaches and views of the Atlantic Ocean. Afterwards, you will head to El Jadida, a major port city on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, located 100 km south of Casablanca. You will have lunch there before leaving for Casablanca, where you will be transferred to your Riad for the night.
