Itinerary

Begin your 7 days Casablanca to Marrakech trip by meeting your tour guide in Casablanca. The first stop is the largest mosque of Hassan II. Then, travel through the Atlantic ocean to the historic capital of Rabat, where you will visit the Hassan Tower, an uncompleted minaret. Next, journey through Berber villages and Rif mountains to reach Chefchaouen. Along the way, take a 2-3 hour hike in Akchour to enjoy the Cascades d’Akchour. In the afternoon, take some free time to explore the Plaza Outa el-Hammam, sip mint tea at a local restaurant, and take in the picturesque blue-painted walls. End the day by spending the night in a local Riad.

Wake up early in the morning and take advantage of the fewer crowds to capture pictures of the streets. Then, embark on a journey to visit two imperial cities: Meknes and Fes. Along the way, make a stop at the UNESCO-protected Roman ruins of Volubilis. The ancient city, established in the 3rd century BC, was once an important hub for the Roman Empire and still holds impressive buildings and architectural features, despite being incomplete. Next, continue on to Meknes, where you will visit the famous Bab El-Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, and the Royal Stables. End the day by heading to Fes for an overnight stay, in preparation for the next day's tour exploring the city.

Fes, the oldest of the four imperial cities in Morocco, is a must-see destination while visiting the country. Join a guide for a half-day tour to fully explore the city, starting in the historic medina, which is over 1000 years old. Wander through the souks and discover the city's two distinct parts: Fes el Bali and Fes el-Jadid. Take a stroll down Talaa Kebira, one of the longest and most important streets in Fes el-Bali. Next, visit the beautiful Al-Attarine Madrasa, a school built by the Marinid sultan Uthman II Abu Said in the 14th century. After leaving the old city, head to the new city and visit El Mellah, a Jewish quarter in the city. Take in the fantastic sunset from a rooftop viewpoint before returning to your Riad for the night.

Begin your 7 days Casablanca to Marrakech journey in the southeast of Morocco by visiting Merzouga, passing through Ifrane, known as the "little Switzerland" of Morocco. Take a quick tour of the city before heading to the Cedar forest of Azrou to meet Berber apes and take pictures. Along the way, you will pass through the Tizi n’Talremt in the Little Atlas mountains, have lunch in Midelt, and stop at the second-largest palm grove in Morocco. As you continue, you will notice a change in the atmosphere and landscape as you enter the Saharan region. Arrive in Erfoud, the gateway to the Sahara desert, known for its fossils. Visit local workshops to learn how they transform fossils into decorations. Then head to Erg Chebbi and switch to a private camel ride (one camel per person) for a unique excursion around the desert with an experienced guide. Enjoy the best sand dunes and a beautiful sunset view, then head to a luxury desert camp for dinner and a night of Sahara music. Spend the night in a tent under the stars.

Start the day early to witness the sunrise at the top of Erg Chebbi dunes before trying sandboarding in the Sahara desert. Ride a camel back to your hotel for breakfast and a quick shower. Then, set off for the Draa valley and Dades gorges, with a first stop in Rissani to visit its traditional market. Continue the desert tour through several Berber villages on the way to Todra Gorges. Once you arrive at Todra, take a walk under the towering 300m rocks and watch climbers as they scale the cliffs. Take some time to relax by the cool waters of the Todra River. After leaving Todra, you'll spend the night in a local Riad or hotel in Dades.

Continuing on your Casablanca to Marrakech Desert tour, head to the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ouarzazate to visit the Film Atlas Studio and pick your favorite movie. Next, visit Morocco's most famous kasbah, Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This traditional pre-Saharan habitat consists of earthen buildings surrounded by high walls. You will have free time to explore the area and take pictures. Have lunch here. Get ready for an exciting adventure across the High Atlas mountains, which reach 2,260 meters above sea level and are located on the road between Marrakech and Ouarzazate. Enjoy the panoramic views and the beautiful landscape. Stop at Tizi n’Tichka to take pictures and relax before continuing on to Marrakech, where your 7 days Casablanca to Marrakech itinerary will come to an end.
