Later on, you will reach Merzouga Desert where you will switch from your 4x4 car to a private camel for a unique desert excursion led by an experienced camel guide. Explore the souks, and discover the city is divided into two parts: Fes el Bali and Fes el-Jadid. Walk along Talaa Kebira, one of the longest and most important streets in Fes el-Bali. Next, visit the stunning Al-Attarine Madrasa, a madrasa (school) in Fes, Morocco, near the Al-Qarawiyyin Mosque. It was built by the Marinid sultan Uthman II Abu Said (1310-1331).
